We are proud to announce that we have extended our sponsorship with Warwickshire County Cricket Club (Warwickshire CCC) by five more years. We are now Warwickshire’s lead partner for First Class and List A cricket, with its list of associated rights in the new package including lead branding on the front of Warwickshire’s County Championship shirt and Royal London Cup shirt until at least the end of the 2024 season.
Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care Chairman, Nicholas Georgevic, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our sponsorship of Warwickshire County Cricket Club as lead Partner. We are thrilled that, as sponsor of the County team shirt, we will get to see some play this year. We are living in exceptional times and recognise the vital role sport, such as cricket, has on our physical health and mental wellbeing. We look forward to the day that we can once again return to Edgbaston and support our county and national team from the Scrivens Stand.”
Ben Seifas, Commercial Partnerships Manager at Warwickshire CCC, said: “The team at Scrivens are actively engaged in everything that the Bears do on and off the pitch and they have been an outstanding partner to the Club since 2013.
“We’re thrilled that we can extend our agreement on a long-term basis, which will ensure that the partnership runs for at least 11 years.”
Since 2013 we have been running our Spot the Cricket Ball competition.
The competition is open to anyone under 16 years of age and offers young cricket fans across the UK the chance to win £250 worth of sports equipment for their school and a family ticket for four people to the T20 Blast Finals at Edgbaston in August.
Over the years we have worked closely with Warwickshire County Cricket Club. Before the start of the season we give all players eyes and hearing checks. Please check out our video some of the players having their eyes test at our branch on Corporation Street in Birmingham.
At the start of this season we gave the players their pre-season eye checks and invited our friends from Oakley to demonstrate their new cricket specific range of lenses. Click here to watch the video.
On occasions we run a competition on our Facebook page with the prize being tickets to a cricket match. It’s great seeing the response we get from these giveaways and competitions and we plan on running a lot more in the near future
