Diesel founder Renzo Rosso began stitching jeans in his early teens. He used his mother’s sewing machine to create low-riding, bell bottomed jeans for himself that he would later sell to his friends. Renzo founded the Diesel brand in 1978 when he bought stakes in the company he was working with and later became the sole owner when he bought out his partner’s shares in the brand.

Whilst Diesel is mostly recognised by its denim wear, the company has since expanded to include other products including jewellery, a perfume line and Diesel Eyewear. Renzo’s philosophy has remained the same over the years, which was to create a brand that would stand for passion, individuality and self-expression.

Diesel Eyewear has a range of styles to suit all face shapes, from bold to low-key styles, contemporary mixed material to old fashioned classics, and edgy square frames to classic aviators.
