We are proud to announce that we have extended our sponsorship with Warwickshire County Cricket Club (Warwickshire CCC) by branding the centre front of this season’s LV=County Championship playing shirt for 2018.
Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care Chairman, Nicholas Georgevic, said: “Warwickshire CCC and Edgbaston Stadium has been a fantastic vehicle for building awareness and interest in our business. With our national network of 170 branches, the prominent position on the front of the county shirt will drive further valuable recognition over the coming season.”
Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director at Warwickshire CCC, added: “Scrivens have been a committed and proactive partner over the last two years. They have been able to benefit their customers by utilising their unique rights package as well as building a strong affinity with the club.
Scrivens Opticians’ chairman, Nicholas Georgevic, said: “Warwickshire CCC is one of the most celebrated sporting teams in the Midlands, and with fantastic new facilities to utilise at the redeveloped Edgbaston ground, it ticked all the boxes from a partnership perspective.
Over the years we have worked closely with Warwickshire County Cricket Club. We have noticed a lot of our customers, especially the younger ones are cricket fans. With this in mind we love to run spot the cricket ball competitions or ticket giveaways.
“The Scrivens partnership has proved an ideal fit for us and not only is it great news for the Club to extend the deal, but also the squad members who have been very grateful for their support. We’re committed to continue working with Scrivens to help communicate the key health messages behind effective eye and hearing care to our staff, Members and supporters through the Club’s channels.” – Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director at Warwickshire CCC
Since 2013 we have been running our Spot the Cricket Ball competition.
The competition is open to anyone under 16 years of age and offers young cricket fans across the UK the chance to win £250 worth of sports equipment for their school and a family ticket for four people to the T20 Blast Finals at Edgbaston in August.
Over the years we have worked closely with Warwickshire County Cricket Club. Before the start of the season we give all players eyes and hearing checks. Please check out our video some of the players having their eyes test at our branch on Corporation Street in Birmingham.
At the start of this season we gave the players their pre-season eye checks and invited our friends from Oakley to demonstrate their new cricket specific range of lenses. Click here to watch the video.
On occasions we run a competition on our Facebook page with the prize being tickets to a cricket match. It’s great seeing the response we get from these giveaways and competitions and we plan on running a lot more in the near future
