A message from Nicholas Georgevic, our CEO

In line with NHS and public health guidelines, we have taken the very difficult decision to temporarily suspend all routine eye and hearing tests. This is designed to support the Government’s efforts to protect us all by discouraging all non-essential work and travel and to ensure appropriate social distancing can be maintained between individuals.

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care does, however, remain open to support our customers and local communities if they need urgent or essential care. Due to demand, we have now fully opened a number of our community branches to support our delivery of urgent and essentials care and a list of these branches can be found here. It is our responsibility to customers and staff to only provide this care in a safe setting, so if you have any urgent or essential requirements, please go to our contact us page or call 0800 626 427 in the first instance in order for us to provide an initial consultation, either by phone or email, where we can provide assistance and advice on any further care you may need as well as how, where and when this will be provided.

May I reassure you that we are continuing with our home delivery service sending contact lenses to our Lensplan members and hearing aid batteries and accessories to our hearing customers as we await a return to a full re-opening of all business activities as soon as the Government allows.

May I also refer you to our FAQ page for answers to many questions I know our customers are interested in. In addition, please visit our Facebook page which is being manned during the day and which is able to answer any non-urgent questions you have.

Finally, and most importantly, may I express my profound wish that you and your family stay safe and well during this difficult time.
