We are located on Fawkon Walk, next door to Manzes Pie & Mash and Santander.
Yes, we offer both private and free NHS eye tests in Hoddesdon! If you are in Hoddesdon or the surrounding areas and are due an eye check up, then why not visit your local Scrivens? Scrivens Hoddesdon is home to a team of professional optometrists that have a minimum of four years experience when it comes to eye check ups and eye health, so rest assured you will be in good hands. If you’ve never had an eye check with Scrivens before, be assured that they are really nothing to worry about. As well as testing your vision, our opticians can also look at the back of the eye to rule out any conditions such as diabetes and glaucoma. If your eye test shows that you need glasses or a new prescription, our opticians will show you a range of frames and lenses that you can purchase in store. There is limited free parking on the high street or a Pay and Display carpark on Taverners Way.
Train
Broxbourne is a 21 minute walk from the branch and Rye House is a 23 minute walk
Bus
There is bus stops situated a 3 minute walk away from the branch by a clock tower.
We are just off the high street in a pedestrianised walkway, opposite Maxim Barbers, next door to Manze’s Pie & Mash. Close by are New Look and Santander at the High Street end of Fawkon Walk. The closest car park to the store is the Aldi car park but it is limited to one hour. There are other Pay & Display car parks nearby. Market days are Wednesdays and Fridays.
