Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care in Thirsk is located at 13 Market Place opposite Nationwide Building Society and Barclays Bank. Parking can usually be found along Market Place and there are two bus stops nearby \u2013 one for local buses and one for National Express services. The train station is approximately 25 minutes walk from the branch on Station Road. Market Days are Monday and Saturday.

The Scrivens Thirsk branch offers both eye and hearing services which includes NHS eyecare services, private eye examinations, contact lenses over 60s eyecare, free kids eyecare, fastrack cataract referral, free NHS hearing aids, free hearing health check, hearing screening, hearing aid services and mould retubing. Digital hearing aids, hearing protection, hearing aid batteries and designer frames from well-known brands such as Versace and Gucci are also available at the Thirsk Scrivens Branch.
