Lovely warm welcome and excellent service as always at Scrivens, Westbourne. Charming, efficient and professional eye test with Anna and then superb guidance and follow up with Linda to choose frames and lenses. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Great service and genuine value for money. I was treated as an individual throughout, and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. I can’t speak highly enough of Scrivens in Westbourne. The staff were excellent—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. I would highly recommend them.

Visited on the off chance my sunglasses could be straightened. Optician Louise explained the frame might snap but I agreed to take the risk and Louise did a fantastic job of bending them back into shape. Many thanks!

I popped into the shop on the off chance to get something explained as the information I had wasn't explained clearly. Linda was absolutely fantastic in explaining everything in an easy to understand manner. She gave clear and concise advice on the situation I had found myself in. I absolutely recommend Scrivens Opticians & hearing care, westbourne. Linda couldn't do enough for me which was highly appreciated.

As always, great service from all the staff. A few weeks ago Connor sorted a problem with my glasses so now I can drive at night. And today Mark was great fitting my son's new glasses. All the staff are so friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. I've been going to Scrivens for years (when it was Greenslades) and I will never go anywhere else for mine and my family's eye care.

We recently visited Scrivens after accidentally dropping a pair of glasses, which caused the screw to come loose and the lens to pop out. Sonny helped us immediately, took our details, and let us know they’d call once the repair was complete. Less than an hour later, we received a call to say the glasses were ready to collect.
When we returned, Linda looked after us and was incredibly kind and welcoming throughout. We were pleasantly surprised to find there was no charge for the repair, which was greatly appreciated and speaks volumes about their customer service.
While waiting, we also had a browse through the frames and were impressed by the wide selection available for the whole family, including some lovely designer options we hadn’t seen elsewhere, such as Longchamp. Overall, a fantastic experience with friendly, efficient service — we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Scrivens for both repairs and eyewear shopping.

Store staff are supper friendly. I use to go to the big brand stores but found this place and definitely recommend it. They very quickly on dealing with any issues. Super friendly and reasonable price and high quality products. Plus they have walk in appointments which now a days must places don’t offer.

Had the best experience today. The staff are so lovely, kind, and patient. I got some glass in my eye and they were able to get me in for a last minute appointment to make sure everything was okay . I saw Anna, who was again so lovely and made the whole experience great. Highly recommend coming here :)

I made two visits to the Westbourne branch - walkin enquiry and eye test appointment. On both occassions the staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. Visiting opticians is not always a great experience, but this was a genuine pleasure and can strongly recommend Scrivens to others.

I have been getting my eyes tested here for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The service I receive has always been exceptional. I have known Connor who works there for as long as I have been going. He is patient, very good with clients, informative and knows his job inside out. The optometrist I saw today explained more in the time I spent with him than all the optometrist I have seen in the past put together. I would definitely recommend this Opticians to any other
