The Emporio Armani line includes clothes, jewellery, perfume, accessories and eyewear collection, which first launched in 1988. It is available in its 13 stores in the US and over 140 worldwide and on the brand’s website. Giorgio Armani originally intended to become a doctor but he later decided that the medical life was not for him. Armani then stepped into the fashion business by becoming a window dresser in a large clothing store. Armani took fashion design very seriously and soon decided it was time to go independent. By 1975, Armani had formed a men’s clothing line, and in 1976, branched out into women’s fashion and developed his own fashion label. The Armani name became world famous, along with its silver eagle icon.
