Kate Brosnahan Spade founded the Kate Spade brand in 1993. The brand opened its first shop in 1996 in New York City, where it is still based today. This brand operates with a “dream big, anything is possible” mentality, and aims to inspire women around the world to be the heroines of their own stories, every day.
At the start of the brand’s venture, Spade’s aim was to create “the perfect handbag”. In 2007, the brand’s product range expanded with the launch of new product categories. Kate Spade now produces clothing, accessories, jewellery, handbags, bridal, frames and more.
