ZEISS has raised their standard of eyecare by including full UV protection across their lens range.
Unlike a coating, these lenses come with UVProtect Technology built in, protecting your eyes for the lifetime of your lens.

UVC radiation does not penetrate the Earth’s atmosphere, but UVA and UVB rays do reach us. This radiation is important for our well-being, it helps our bodies produce vitamin D. However, it can also damage our skin and eyes.
The UV radiation range between 380 and 400 nanometers is the most energetic and harmful part of the spectrum. This long-wave UV radiation penetrates deeper into the tissue and can cause damage.
Over time, constant exposure to UV rays can cause various forms of eye conditions and accelerate the ageing of the skin around our eyes. In fact, UV exposure is a major factor in the development of photokeratitis and cataracts.
Zeiss’ Anti-Fog wipes are made of a soft, microfine fabric that ensures gentle and careful cleaning without damaging the anti-reflective coating.
The wipes leave a thin film on the lens – comparable to an additional temporary coating. This ensures that fine droplets of condensation can no longer adhere to the surface of the lens.
