First of all i will say when i first when in the customer service pretty much all the way through has been pretty good appart from the last few times ive expected a phone call ive has to ring eithr late in the afternoon or the following day for a few things. the issue is the lenses i was given first time round were not right for my eyes at all and certain distances / measurements were incorect , the second time after doing testing not just in the back but in the shop to look down the main highstreet to see if i could etc , now my eyes have a strong astegmatism , lazy eye etc and a weaker eye in general , the 2nd set of lenses were deffinatly much better but not strong enough for my eyes according to the eye test my eyes had improved a tad and i needed a slightly less stronger prescription but i had had my old lenses/glasses for around 7 years and the film had warn one one lense causing a distortion / patch on them rending them hard to wear/use so after 6/7 weeks waiting between new lenses arriving and obviously having to do it a 2nd time to the lenses still not being good for my eyes as my ehes just keep losing focus or getting lost etc ive worn them for 3 weeks now and as i kept being told its for the brain to adjust which i can understand but as somone who wears glasses all the time you just know and notice everything that is not right about them and my eyes have not adjusted nor have they gotten any better , i was offerd a refund after my 2nd set wasnt right for me but unfortinatly im now lumped with £270/280 dead weight and having to put my eyes through strain on a daily basis until i can sort funds to get another set made up at my old opticions because my old glasses are close to if not un wearable due to wear and tear on the lenses/frame , so its proberly going to be a good month or so before i can even get useable glasses to wear everyday without issues now after already being around 2 momths without useable glasses due to them being wrong im not in anyway or form slagging or disrespecting the staff here as for the most part they are nice people but once again im dissapoiinted in trying to change my opticions as this would be now the 4th differant place i have tried since going to my original opticions and a dissapointing result as the outcome again.

Went into scrivens today for my boyfriend to have an eye test and get new glasses. Carly was an amazing help with this process. She was penitent and understanding of his needs. All of the workers in there are lovely, very relaxed and work great as a team! Definitely recommend the Rhyl store!

What a lovely and professional team you all are at Scrivens Rhyl, North Wales. Special thanks go to, Fiona, Carly and Ian for their excellent service .

We were passing by the shop front and as an impromptu visit we popped in as a sign was advertising eye test available. We mentioned that my wife was having vision difficulties with the current prescription (from another service provider)

The Eye Test was performed by an excellent optometrist, Ian whom put her at ease explaining the sight difficulties and that how different the readings were from the pair of glasses she wore.

We were assisted by Carly in choosing New Glasses, frame and lenses. With the new colour options in transition lenses, we were spoilt for choice!

Whilst I waited a was kindly offered a choice of tea/coffee or a cold squash.

Once more excellent service from a great team and a 'breath of fresh air' in customer service. 😀
