An eyeful of sights awaits Paris trip winner

A lucky customer from our Chesterfield branch has won a dream trip to see the sights of Paris.

Mrs Sharon Glasby and husband Ian will enjoy two nights in a four star hotel in the French capital and have £1000 spending money to experience the city in style.

The mother-of-two from Chesterfield struck lucky in a national free prize draw, which she entered at Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care in Market Place. It was open to any customer who received a free trial or purchased their first pack of Alcon DAILIES TOTAL1®daily disposable contact lenses.

Sharon said: “I could not believe I had won. Seeing Paris has been on my wish list for a long time so I’m really excited about it. We’ve chosen to go in June to coincide with our 34th wedding anniversary as it will be a memorable place to celebrate.

“I have worn glasses for a long time and was persuaded to give these contact lenses a try. It was a good decision not just because I won the prize but because I have felt comfortable with them.”

Contact lens optician Helen Thompson said: “I was absolutely thrilled that one of our customers won. The lenses have given Sharon more freedom. They are excellent lenses, designed to be more comfortable because of the material used and the water content on the surface.”

The competition was run by contact lens manufacturer Alcon with the top prizes of four luxury shopping trips to Paris.

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care was established in 1938 and has 177 stores in England and Wales, with 1,000 employees. For more information, visit our home page.
