Get your eyes tested this Road Safety Week

Post on 23rd November 2016

Our branch staff are advising people to get their eyes tested to help their focus and confidence on the roads this Winter as part of Road Safety Week (21-27 November).

Research carried out by Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care found drivers were more likely to hang up their car keys at this time of year than at any other. Concerns were flagged up about driving in the dark and having visibility impaired by poor weather and low sun. Click here to read full article.

With fading light and shorter days driving can be a challenge at this time of year. So if you notice changes to your vision please have your eyes tested. Drivers need optimum vision for their own safety and the safety of other road users.

Your local Scrivens branch is happy to give advice.
