Loyal customer launches Newmarket opticians branch
Post on 1st September 2016
A loyal customer who feels at home at Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care was chosen to officially launch our new branch in Newmarket.
Retired caretaker Keith Field, aged 74, performed the honours at Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care on High Street and was presented with a bouquet of flowers and a gift voucher as a thank you.
Keith, who lives in Gazeley, said: “The staff look after me so well, I would not go anywhere else. It is like being at home, they are so welcoming. I lost my wife Pauline last year and she came here too. They looked after her and treated her like a queen.”
Branch manager Suzanne French said: “Keith has entrusted his eye care to us for 16 years and regularly calls in to say hello. We thought it fitting if he launched our new premises.”
Scrivens has moved from The Guineas shopping centre to a new-look branch which boasts the latest digital eye examination equipment, and a new and updated range of frames, including the latest designer names. A full range of hearing care services is also provided.
Offers, including a £10 eye test and up to 50% off frames, will also celebrate the launch.
